Fyn - the land of a hundred manors
The countryside of Fyn is a treasure trove of well-maintained relics of the past. Nowhere else in Denmark offers the same density of manor houses as Fyn, Langeland and Ærø. In all there are 123 manors and castles, and their extensive fields, woods, avenues and stone walls are a defining feature of the landscape.
Visit Egeskov Castle - the best-preserved Renaissance moat castle in Europe dating back to 1554. Enjoy the castle itself and the beautiful gardens with the largest collection of Fuchias in Europe, the Renaissance Garden and the Willow Maze designed by the polymath Piet Hein. Or visit the exciting Oldtimer car museum which comprises about 50 beautifully preserved and restored cars from the late 19th century until the early 1980´s.

Bornholm
Situated in the Baltic Sea to the east of Copenhagen and only 3 hours away from the centre of Copenhagen by train and boat, 35 minutes by plane and overnight by ferry from Copenhagen, is the very spectacular and historic island of Bornholm, which in many respects differs from the rest of Denmark.
The unique scenery presents a multitude of possibilities for a memorable pre- or post-congress tour - not to mention the numerous opportunities of purchasing unique art crafts.
Whether you wish for an action-filled day/weekend or peace and tranquillity Bornholm has it all: Rift valleys, granite quarries, beautiful coastal paths with perfect angling opportunities, 3 golf courses, long sandy beaches, and smokehouses offering many fish specialities for example smoked heering.
